NELKOSKI ORGANIC FOOD LLC is a small company that is formalize an extensive family experience for growing organic hazelnuts in the last 10 years.

The owner of NELKOSKI ORGANIC FOOD comes from a family where hazelnuts farming is a family business and becomes a tradition. For the hazelnut we have a European certificate for organic production. The facility is housed in its own buildings of 350 meters in which began processing, breaking, grilling and packing of hazelnut. The company is registered in the ministry of agriculture as official buyer of organic products from agricultural producers in Macedonia.

How it started: Its starter with investment in Hazelnuts after visiting Italian and Croatian farms of hazelnuts. Through the PUM project with the Netherlands Embassy sent an expert from the Netherlands to help us develop original ideas and develop our farm. The Dutch Embassy through this project enabled us to visit the Netherlands in several companies from where we gathered experience and knowledge about the requirements for the Dutch and European market in general. So we were encouraged with all this experience to produce butter from organic hazelnut.
